On Judgement Day our attempts to be religious will testify against us. They'll seek to gobble us up; so we need to defang them in this lifetime.
A holy book may tell believers to compel unbelievers to believe, and to kill them if they refuse to believe. Notwithstanding the the fact that you can't really force someone to believe something, believers may obediently drench whole empires in blood trying to fulfill the command. And you know what God will say to them on Judgement Day?
He'll say, ‘How hard, exactly, did you work to make people believe before resorting to the sword? How winsome did you make yourself? Did you intoxicate the whole world with your kindness and generosity? How much did you contribute to culture and architecture and science and wisdom and world peace and tolerance and community and laughter before you thought, “Enough of that. These people won’t listen. Let’s decapitate them”? Did you go as far as you could possibly go before you picked up your sword?’
The answer, of course, will have to be no. You can never go far enough.
God will continue: ‘So you had the effrontery to kill people who I created, who I made myself, because you found it too taxing to win them over with your goodness and reasonableness and creativity?’
The believers will be miffed. ‘You said we could kill, Lord.’
‘I fixed an impossible precondition to your lust for violence.’
‘How were we to know?’
‘Didn't get the hint when I said that I am love? When I said I am all-merciful?’
‘You tricked us, Lord.’
‘I tricked the evil in you to come out of hiding and show itself.’
That's the kind of conversation you'll hear on Judgement Day.
Is there a chance that you might be in need of mercy on that day? If so, in the days leading up to that day, it's best to err on the side of mercy. That's how you defang your religion.
A "cult of personality" is created when the media casts a leader in a heroic or godlike image, combined with unquestioning praise and flattery for that person even though they have accomplished nothing in their political career.
A hallmark for dictatorships throughout history, cults of personality have been used to dupe the public ( primarily the youth ) into believing they're part of a movement, when they are fed empty slogans which they parrot without question.
Mr. Barrack Obama a covert muslim communist, His role in the historical drama that is being played before us, is he will preside over the U.S. Perestroika, socio-political restructuring, further police state inegration under the ficticious threat of more terror.
The elite overlords who promote him, want to further humiliate the U.S. by slapping us in the face ( adding insult to injury ) with a Muslim President and whose name ryme with Osama, that is if you follow the official story line or myth of the war on terror. I know them like the back of my hand, I think like they ( elite overlords ) do.
An extreme example of 'cult of personality' is the dear leader of North Korea Kim Jong-il where he is practically worshipped as god of the peasants and armed forces of North Korea.
"Been thinking about getting a real job."
I have been looking through my personal journal over the past few months, since I have entered the world of blogging. Certainly it has been a blessing, far beyond anything I expected, and it has also been a challenge as I have interacted with those who oppose the message of God’s Word.
I thought I would share some of my entries in the hope that it may encourage other Christians to step out and share their faith. Some of these entries are direct from Scripture on a day when I needed it, and some are from writings by Oswald Chambers.
• Jeremiah 20:9 “His word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones. I was weary of holding it back and I could not.”
• 2 Timothy 1:2 “The gifts and calling of God are irrevocable.”
• Jeremiah 10:23 “O Lord, I know the way of man is not in himself; it is not in man who walks to direct his own steps.”
• Oswald Chambers – “There is no responsibility on you for the work; the only responsibility you have is to keep in living constant touch with God, and to see that you allow nothing to hinder your cooperation with Him.”
• Oswald Chambers – “God engineers everything; wherever He puts us our one great aim is to pour out our whole hearted devotion to Him in that particular work.”
• Oswald Chambers – “Spiritually we cannot measure our life by success, but only by what God pours through us; and we cannot measure that at all.”
• Acts 18:10 – The Lord said to Paul, “Dismiss your fears; go on speaking and do not give up, I am with you and no one shall attack you or injure you; for I have many people in this city.”
• Acts 11:23 – About Barnabas - “He encouraged them all to remain with fixed resolve, faithful to the Lord.”
• Acts 4:20b Weymouth – “As for us, what we have seen and heard we cannot help speaking about.”
Kinsey's fraudalent human sexuality research was in fact Rockefeller Foundation sponsored sexaul liberation, social engineering for the purposes of socio-political control and enslavement of the sheeple (see eugenecist Aldux Huxley's concentration camp of the mind ), that serve the elites very well. Couple this with rabid eugenecist Margeret Sanger's ( planned parenthood founder ) promotion of abortion - was also sponsored by this tax free foundation. All this points to the fact that our culture is run by elites in power following occult traditions, doing the bidding of the dark side.
Reuters, today: In a landmark trans-denominational ruling by the Pope, an evangelical has had his fish sticker revoked for discourteous driving and stealing allotted parking spaces.
‘He was advertising his allegiance to Christ while acting like a dufus,’ said the Pope. ‘If evangelical leaders aren’t going to set limits concerning use of vehicular fish, Rome will have to do it for them.’
The evangelical, Frank, is reported to be ‘confused’ by the papal intervention. ‘I don’t recall the bible saying that the Keys of St Peter work on a Nissan Micra,’ he told reporters.
Appearing before the Vatican, Frank’s wife defended her husband with the following impassioned speech:
‘Has my husband disgraced the Christian religion by displaying a fish sticker while behaving like a moron? I confess there is some truth to the allegation. But is it not truer to say that the fish sticker is an admission that one has confessed one's wretchedness before heaven and is crying out to be cleansed of precisely the kind of crimes my husband wallows in? Is it not the case that the public has been ill-educated regarding the significance of the fish, and has taken it to mean a badge of holiness?
‘My husband Frank, good sirs, is anything but holy. I would submit that any holiness – nay, basic decency – that exists in him is wholly miraculous in nature. That fish sticker on his car proclaims the hope – his hope and, in particular, mine - that my husband will not always persist in bad driving, parking-space theft, belching at the dinner table, and watching our next door neighbour Glenda sunbathe in a bikini that appears to have been fashioned by spiders. And one day, when Frank gets his act together, learns to parallel-park and submits to a haircut and a scale and polish, the world will be able to see that fish sticker and join me in giving thanks to God for his reformation.
‘We Christians should not try to give the impression that ours is a religion of morality, of goodness, of ethical standards and clean living. It is not. Claiming membership of the Body of Christ is an admission of moral bankruptcy. My husband’s fish sticker does not say, “I uphold high moral standards, so please refrain from using coarse language around me.” It says: “I’m not nice. I drive like an enraged monkey. I am frequently lecherous. I have to be positively bullied into washing my neck. I may or may not do a good job of concealing my unpleasantness to you, but I have confessed it openly to God and have consented to the slow but inevitable demise of the unpleasant person who owns this fish sticker. Rest assured that everything unpleasant about me is dead, and the only reason it persists is because God sees fit to make my transition from wretch to saint gradual, so as not to submit my wife to a fatal shock.”
‘The sticker says: “God counts me as dead, and so should you. My bad driving and perversity and my indiscretion at last year’s office party are being phased out of existence; everything you rightly dislike about me is being strangled to death, and one day will exist no more. Someone new is emerging from within this oaf with no table manners, and that new person is the one you will meet in heaven, God willing, by which time the owner of this fish sticker will have been utterly obliterated.” In other words, your holinesses, that fish sticker says: “I am wicked, but don’t worry – I’m under a death sentence.”’
Next door neighbour Lorraine testifies that since the revoking of his fish sticker and his wife’s disappearance to Rome, Frank has become ‘something of a softie.’ ‘He’s spent the last three days at his bedroom window with a pair of binoculars,’ Lorraine giggled. ‘I never figured him for the ornithology type.’
This is my last entry in this running series of "Tough Questions for Christians". Although I do not know if these answers have been helpful to others, I know it has greatly increased my prayer, meditation and study of God's word. These questions have pushed me to truly "be ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you..." (I Pet. 3:15) I hope you have enjoyed reading these, or at least been given some knowledge to aid you in your spiritual journey.
God bless, Lexann

Question #19: Bumbling
Idiot God
Did God create Hell with the
foreknowledge and intent of torturing humanity?
Or is he a bumbling idiot who could not foresee the consequences of his
own actions?
I’ve given an answer to
enough of your questions by now that I’m sure you know that I do not believe
that God is a bumbling idiot nor do I believe that He could not foresee the
consequences of His own actions. This
question poses another in my mind which is: Should God have not created man at
all? Or should He have created man
without the ability of free will? Hell,
as you mentioned, was not made for humanity.
God never intended it to be so, but where God is not, there is hell. We have God ever present in this physical
world, and so do not comprehend His absence.
In the spiritual world, the afterlife, if you prefer, God is separate
from wickedness. Light cannot abide in
darkness. Where light is not, there is
darkness. Those who choose not to abide
in light must abide in darkness. Not
because God chooses such, but because an individual chooses such. Man with his free will chooses
separation. God does not intend Hell for
anyone, but knew that would be the outcome for some. One day you may be blessed with
children. There is a high possibility
that at least one of your children may reject the morals and principles you
instill in him. With that knowledge,
will you choose not to have children?
God didn’t make that choice; He chose to create mankind with free will,
despite the knowledge that there would be those who would use that free will to
choose to be without Him.
20. Tough Question for Christians #20: Chimera
How many souls does a Chimera have, and
what happens to the other soul?
This question is
irrelevant. I don’t mean that in an
arrogant or self-righteous way at all. I
mean that this question is like asking, “Did Adam and Eve have a belly button?” Although that might be an amusing bit of
information to have, it makes no difference in the life of the believer. When does God give the soul of man? Is it at conception or implantation or
perhaps when the brain stem forms?
Perhaps the soul, like the body, develops in the womb, and like many
other things such as puberty or the age of accountability, it is different for
each person. I don’t know the answer to
these questions, but they are not beyond God. If the soul of the Chimera is “merged” or grows
with the body or is bestowed by God at some other time, what does it
matter? God is not confounded by this
anomaly of the nature that He has created.
21. Tough Question for Christians #21: God Hates
Disabled People
Why would the presence of someone
disabled profane God’s sanctuary?
I believe that in asking this
question, you have no real concept of the holiness of God. It is not really your fault. We in our society have so denigrated God to
make Him our friend and our “buddy” that we have forgotten who He is! He is the I AM, the Almighty, the Holiest of
Holies, the Everlasting Father, the Creator of the Universe! To come into His presence is an awesome and
terrible thing!
The symbolism in the Temple was profound. Only the High Priest could enter the Holy of
Holies, the place where resided the Ark of the Covenant, and then only once a
year after much ritual cleansing. Only
the priests could enter the Holy Place, and
they were only men from the tribe of Levi.
Only Jewish males over the age of 12 could enter the temple courts. Did God think less of men from tribes other
than Levi? Did God hate Gentiles and
women and children? God had dietary
laws: no pork, no lobster, etc. Is there
anything wrong with these foods? Didn’t
God create it and give it to man as food?
Were these inferior items made by God?
God had specific details about sacrificial animals. They were to have no blemish, not even a
spot. Is a spotted lamb’s wool
inferior? Does meat from a blind bull taste
less appealing? God did not make these
rules because women or disabled people or spotted lambs are of lesser value,
but to show the symbolism of His holiness!
These were external physical reminders to the people of Israel
of the separation of God and man. We
must not take it for granted that we can simply enter into the presence of the
Holy God with our unclean selves and demand audience!
This is a reflection on the
wonder and power of the blood of Christ!
It shows the superiority of Christ to the law. When Jesus died, the temple veil that
separated the Holy of Holies was torn in two from top to bottom! (Matt. 27:51)
That symbolic separation between God and man that was so overwhelming in
the Temple had
been overcome through the sacrifice of Christ Jesus! God and man need never again be separated!
I like this song by Vicky Beeching.
And I don't know what the future holds
Or what lies beyond my horizon.
The years ahead are just out of sight
Well, I think sometimes that You hide them
So that I'll walk by faith, not sight.
So that I'll take Your hand, holding tight
Through twenty-six summers and twenty-six winters,
I've laughed in springtime, I've cried in the rain.
Though I question the meaning of some of life's seasons
It's true, that they've left me holding on tighter to You!
My one desire for the road ahead
Is that we would walk it together.
Friend and King, You're my Everything,
May I stay by Your side forever.
For when my heart's afraid, You're near,
Whispering to my soul, "Don't fear!"
Through twenty-six summers and twenty-six winters,
I've laughed in springtime, I've cried in the rain.
Though I question the meaning of some of life's seasons
It's true, that they've left me holding on...
and I will trust in You alone
For You're the hand leading me
Home!
leading me home.
I've spent twenty-six summers and twenty six-winters
With You.
Through all off the seasons my search for reasons
You've carried, carried me through
These twenty-six summers and twenty six-winters
I've laughed in the springtime, I've cried in the rain
Though I question the meaning of some of life's seasons
It's true, that they've left me holding on tighter to You
I will keep holding on, holding on,
to You!!
and i will keep holding on,
Holding on to You!

Question #16: False Gods
What system did God establish, which
“mislead” Christians ignore, that ensures you are following the real God, while
other believers are so easily mislead?
One of your observations in
asking this question is: “It can't be the
simple act of prayer because the groups in question did that. It can't be simply the study of the Bible
because they did that as well. Nor can
it be simply the having of faith in the guidance of a loving God because this
also describes them.” How do you
come to this conclusion? It seems in the
case of the Branch-Davidians and Jim Jones followers at least, that they had
faith in the guidance of a man over the guidance of a loving God. They apparently did not study the bible
because otherwise their followers would have known them to be false
prophets. I don’t know the details, but I
do know that David Koresh was a pedophile of his own followers’ children and
Jones had his followers commit murder/suicide.
God tells us over and over again in scripture that you will know a false
prophet by his actions. (Jer. 23; Matt.
7:15-21; Matt. 24:23-26; II Pet. 2:1-3)
A man who exempts himself from the laws of God while professing to have
divine inspiration is a liar. This is the
only “system” that we need to identify false prophets.
If you are a Christian who can isolate
nothing you are doing differently from the people referred to previously, then
here's another question: "How can you be sure that you are not yourself
being misled by a false god?"
This isn’t exactly applicable
to me as I believe I can isolate something different from myself and the groups
you mentioned in your podcast: faith in God over any man. You seem to be looking for a “secret” that
only true Christians have, that others do not.
There is no secret. God tells us
in scripture that even the elect can be lead away by false prophets. (Matt. 24:24) We, as Christians, must be diligent in our
“true knowledge” of Jesus Christ (II Pet. 1:8), and must search the scriptures
daily to see if what someone says is true, as did the more “noble” Bereans
(Acts 17:10-11).
17. Tough Question for Christians #17: Never Heard of Jesus
If people can ONLY be damned if they
consciously reject Jesus, why tell anyone about him?
Jesus tells us: “Go therefore
and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father
and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded
you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matt.
28:19-20). God also tells us through
inspiration, “…for whoever will call upon the name of the LORD will be
saved. How then shall they call upon Him
in whom they have not believed? And how
shall they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are
sent?...” and “So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.” (Rom.
10:13-15a,17) It is the most imperative
and urgent mission of the church as a whole and Christians as individuals to
proclaim the gospel to all, and to send out preachers to every corner of the
world so that all have the opportunity to hear.
Because God also tells us, “…when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from
heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to
those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. And these will pay the
penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the
glory of His power.” (II Thess. 1:7b-9) People cannot be saved without Christ.
18. Tough Question for Christians #18: Promised Land
Why did God make the Israelites murder
so many people in order to take possession of the land he promised them?
I’m sure you’ve heard the
arguments as for why the Canaanites were to be utterly destroyed, so I won’t
reiterate something you’ve already heard (and don’t believe). We’ll leave it at this: God brought judgment upon them for their
wickedness, and used the Israelites as His tool to administer this judgment.
Therefore, you ask: “Why did God make the Israelites kill everyone off, instead
of simply having the land prepared and ready for them, like he promised?” Let me ask you something: do you make your
child do chores? At 1 & 4, my boys
do “clean up” (put away their toys) and “help” with the dishes. Do I need their help to get these chores
done? At this age they are more of a
hindrance than a help, but the work is good for them. When they are old enough, they will have to
mow the grass and take out the trash, etc.
As they grow and get more responsibility, they also will get more
privileges. They will not “earn” their
keep through these things, but it makes them appreciate what they have and
respect their parents. Did God need the
Israelites to make war for Him in order to accomplish His goals? Of course not. The use of the Israelites was for the benefit
of them, not God. They had to put their
faith in Him exclusively, not their own warfare abilities. Most of the time they were vastly outnumbered
and out-classed in their warring technology.
The conquering of Jericho
was most obviously through the power of God.
These skirmishes were to teach and build God’s people to trust fully in
Him, not their own strength. (Duet.
6:10-15; Josh. 25:13-15)
Social engineers at advertising agencies, in consent with well known companies sell more than the products we are familiar with, this case is an example of how the masses also get branded into acceptance of homosexual alternative lifestyles that go against nature. indeed the insane are running the asylum. The cultural subversion is complete, where we once protected children from homosexuals... a little less than twenty years ago - now are given to them for odoption.
